Iran is willing to resume nuclear discussions with Washington as long as it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

Abbas Araghchi said only diplomacy produced results, and disclosed fresh requests had come from mediators to restart negotiations with the American leadership. He asserted Iran possessed no undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Complex Course

Araghchi is navigating a complex course since Iran wishes not to be seen to be operating from a stance of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen more resilient defensively and mentally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.
