Around 25,000 households in southeastern Queensland found themselves lacking electricity on the start of the week after powerful weather events swept through the region, generating strong winds reaching 109km/h.
Substantial Ice Stones and Widespread Impact

Rescue organizations received nearly 600 emergency reports across the state, primarily for structural issues but also for downed trees and water accumulation.

Weather Forecast
Damp conditions were expected to linger along much of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tuesday was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing storm activity anticipated across multiple regions of both regions.

Public health experts warned that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
